I feel the right word is 'Conscious AI'. AI in it's current form is very nascent, but does pretty well in specific use cases (image/speech recognition etc.). The true AGI will be the 'Conscious AI', which will be like a toddler, but learn about the world at exponential rate and perhaps become an adult in a month.
