Cute how Apple wants to make their "users" believe they have an exclusive deal on breaching their privacy.
What possible motivation would Apple have for doing this.
They aren't an advertising company and they make money from selling hardware not from selling data.
Apple has been increasing displaying rent seeking behavior more and more recently. They're not just trying to make money from HW.
Im pretty sure that the NSA pays Apple for the data that they get but I am unsure if Apple sells it to anyone else.
