I remember getting a copy of QNX “Proton” (?) on a cd-rom with a Danish computer magazine in the late 90ies. About the same time they distributed Red Hat Linux (5.2/Hedwig) and BeOS. I don’t recall if the QNX desktop was actually installable or if it was only a ram-disk. I remember it as blazing fast.
