I don't think I would want this for code, but it sounds really interesting for a shared drive. I would love to version control the dir where my team dumps all of its docs and spreadsheets and everything else.

Thanks for the feedback! What about a version control system would be valuable for storing your documents? I'm curious why you couldn't use something like Google Drive/Dropbox.
