Hum there's one commit end of 2022, a few end of 2021, 3 early 2021 and then the initial repository creation in 2018.
You haven't been working on it for 4 years, you started it 4 years ago, have made disconnected updates here and there since, and are releasing a pre-alpha to capitalize on the Reddit story.
You should learn about git submodules before interpreting their git activity, especially if you're going to be so confidently judgmental.
You've missed over 900 commits. Oops. :)
My bad, I was on mobile and seeing the commits is always a pain there.
