Nothing against paying to take part in something but having money paid out to people you upvote seems to set up a very perverse incentive structure. There's now a direct monetary incentive for clickbait. I would much rather 50% to the running of the site, 50% to a charity chosen by the sub that I'm posting in. Anything but rewarding people for drama creation.
