they offer sequences! this is a very good detail, but only the similarity of DNA is not enough. the golden standard is perlfoming a phylogenetic tree reconstruction. if it is true that more tahn 95% DNA of human same as this species, the most probaly hypothesis is that this species is another species closet to human and other primates. finally, because they offered data, we just need to wait someone perform phylogenetic tree reconstruction analysis.
p.s., so they almost say this is not a alien.(if this is true)
and I don't know how they get enough DNA. besides, NCBI automatically assigned these data belong Homo sapiens?
If the "DNA analysis" isn't entirely invented then my guess is that they have analysed the DNA of a mixture of microorganisms that happened to be present on the specimens.
