You're being very naive. That's a classic "simple solution of a hard problem" coming from somebody with tech background.

Today people are not ashamed of posting horrible things under their real name! Let that sink in.

  • yes, people post bad content all the time; however I'm not against that kind of content.

    I have problems with:

      - bot posts
      - ... which influence some real users
      - ... which then, combined with more bot posts, influence the rest of users
    

    solving the problem of "free speech" on the internet obviously won't be done by implementing a proof of human uniqueness; I believe it's a problem, that will always remain to a certain degree. however, I believe that we can reduce the size of the problem from where its at now, to a significantly smaller size (e.g. 2000s era)
