The funny thing for me is that Rust's mascot, Ferris, is a crab (or "rustacean").

The symbol for Cancer is also a crab. The very word "cancer" itself comes from the Greek "καρκίνος" (karkínos), meaning "crab".

Rust literally is Cancer.
