That is the likely outcome. Its not too difficult to incorporate AI into the process of assessing skill: There is always a risk that the AI will hallucinate or make noticeable mistakes, and being able to detect them would be a confirmation of the engineer's knowledge. Even more so in cases of seniors and architects.
