I get the frustration, but comments like this break the rules at the top of the thread, so I've detached this one from https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=44159575.

I know that some companies do this and I agree that the ones that do it, shouldn't. The trouble is that it's not possible to fairly assess these cases in a format like this.

Removing job posts older than 3 months would be a great starting point, given the current state of the job market.
