My comment at the top of this thread got detached, but originally it was a reply to this misleading comment:

Can we stop pretending that male programmers with "she/her" next to their names are female? This does nothing positive for actual female representation in this industry.

It's very grating to see work done by males in this male-dominated field be celebrated as if it's from the very small minority of female programmers. To everyone doing this: please stop these misogynistic lies.
