Though not relevant to the subject of the appointee’s qualifications, the article mistakenly defines the ATP rating as “air transport pilot.” It’s actually “airline transport pilot.” Despite having the word “airline” in the name of this certificate, flying for an FAA part 121 operation is not a requirement though.

Almost like these agencies that are only beholden to the executive branch souls have much less power
