‘Collective rights’ aren’t in the Constitution. You may wish to read that as well. But I do recognize your sentiment as echoing Trump’s I am your retribution rhetoric. Otherwise, I’m done here.

“Collective rights” absolutely are in the constitution. For example, Article IV guarantees every state a “republican form of government.” What is that if not a collective right?

This has nothing to do with “retribution.” Non-enforcement of the immigration laws has left us with a huge problem—vastly more illegal immigrants than Americans consented to—which requires aggressive enforcement to remedy.

That's fine, because the powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution are reserved to the people.
