Why are tech dudes so hung up on homelessness? Also, the reference to it was so callous and would seem to reveal a complete lack of empathy: NYC has too many homeless people; let's build a metro in Jersey City in order to make Jersey City ... more of a thing and not even attempt to address the "problem" in any substantive way.

It's also a feat of mental gymnastics to put European infrastructure on a pedestal while ranting about NY's taxes and, more broadly, the US' difficulties building infrastructure.
