That could be retitled “How I lost two days trying to configure shpool to land on something inferior to what I used before because a random interview on the internet convinced mr I needed to change something which worked perfectly and I have a lot of time to waste.”

Honestly, there is absolutely no point in removing tmux from your workflow if you already use it. Multiplexers work. Sure they add complexity to the stack but so what? It works. It’s light. It adds virtually no security risk.

The need to remove them comes from a purely ideological point of view. There is absolutely no practical advantage.
