Mine tend to be entrepreneurial and I find that if I sketch out the solution and then think about marketing and sales and the customer service and what not, that I quickly realized I have no desire to run this company even if it seems like an interesting problem space to scratch my engineering itch.

So I just won’t start building as many. If I find the engineering part interesting enough I might just build the part that’s interesting to me. That typically means I skip the front end and only focus on the core business logic.
