Not the parent commenter but one major difference I see is that they provide an API, making it possible to integrate from code. (i.e. I've seen some "View Helper" type libraries that will integrate, to allow inserting icons programatically).
This is clean — I like that you’ve kept the browsing fast and the customization simple. Have you thought about adding a ‘save style’ feature so users can keep a consistent look across multiple icons? That could be great for branding
The instant search is a nice touch, however pressing "Enter" after typing reloads the whole page losing the search term.
