You can avoid that clusterfuck using `uv tool install`. E.g. `uv tool install pre-commit`.

You can avoid that clusterfuck using `uv tool install`. E.g. `uv tool install pre-commit`.
It's also not hard to just manage a damn virtual environment yourself.
