If I could trade Zed for Microsoft's acquisition of GitHub, I'd give up Zed. We lost way more than we gained.
Yes-- Zed allows you to disable the AI now. However, you still can't remove the GitHub login button on the editor. What's up with that?
I see the endless potential of Zed, and it has no specific corporate shackles.
