If you're talking about apple music vs apple records, they actually got sued over it and they had to sign a licensing agreement with apple records to continue using apple music.

The end result of all that fighting over the years was that Apple Computer gained full rights to the mark, and licenses it to Apple Corps for the limited use of identifying Apple Corps and related marks.
I'm talking about Apple's appeal against a german cafe named Apfelkind (Apple child) trademarking its logo because people could confuse it with Apple's.
