Same here, repeatedly. I've never had a BTRFS fs that didn't spontaneously combust before it would have been decommissioned. Recovery or even check is always impossible. Only things that have caused more loss were (old) XFS on Linux that ate files every power outage and ReiserFS which also blew up in an unfixable way. I'll always recommend staying away from them. A filesystem should always have reliability and no loss, particularly no invisible loss, as its top priority.
I have one btrfs going at the moment. Nothing important, naturally. Just a Silverblue test installation. Will see how that fares.
