They already do this[1]. Why should there be an exception carved out for AI type jobs?

    I didn't say it would.

    I said that politicians already artificially preserve jobs, and asked, quite legitimately I feel, why should they make an exception for AI?

I think that would be Singapore, as far as import tarrifs go? Not much starvation there!

Do you mean taxes? Or excise duties or...?
