If this was from 2025, I'd put his RADICAL BREAKTHROUGH down to spending too much time on ChatGPT.

In general, his emails read like something I've observed people doing IRL; they coax smart people into talking by saying ambiguous, clever sounding things (which are actually nonsense). The actually intelligent person will give them the benefit of doubt by association with their connections, thinking they must be intelligent to have such friends, and assume they misheard or something. Quite surprising how often nonsense like that passes muster. From the bits I've skimmed so far, he looks like a very successful hanger on that leveraged each connection into other ones.
I feel like this is in code, and we need to decipher it.
