no internet yet. was a computer store, they sold some games on floppy, i was like 11 , buying doom on floppy i think or looking at it. the onwer saw it and recommended a book which was about visual basic or quick basic. i told him i wanted to buy the game and he said i wasnt allowed (too violent) and i should buy the book instead..he'd discount it to match the games ' price.

ended up being real thankful for that guy and the kid who showed me that shop and later (15 years later...) got me my first job in IT.
