This is not an interesting result. Coding has never been the bottleneck in software development. How many of us have spent months on simple projects where requirements changed, stakeholders were indecisive, and the project dragged on and on? Oftentimes to be cancelled or otherwise deprioritized? It happens a lot!
For passion projects with limited software dev resources or knowledge it's a considerable bottleneck.
Maybe being able to deliver faster than stakeholders can hem and haw makes a difference. It's done already, what are you going to complain about now?
The faster you can iterate the more they will change their mind.
Once it's out, they can file a ticket, for triage.
Indeed... I've had many projects where initial implementation took a few days but getting to the finished product took months, mostly because... human interaction between clients and developers. Now what if the client can interact directly with the LLM ? I don't know.
Everyone has a plan until they get hit in the user conceptual model.
You get to interact with clients?
Yes. And I wouldn't work in an environment where it would not be the case. The less middleman the better.
