Perhaps you could encode your email address using Base64; this would reduce the amount of spam you receive from a publicly accessible email address:)

It is always a trade off of fighting spam versus actually communicating. Do I want this person to easily write to me without a lot of effort? Or do I pay the cognitive cost for my audience for the slight chance of win against spammers? I chose to stay simple.
