I used to like Digg and enjoy the podcast a lot.
No idea what the tech behind this site is, or what server(s) it's running on, but kind of clearly not enough for the hug of death it seems to be getting... can't really even use it (slow).
I use to enjoy diggnation, but now every episode is about them claiming not to be alcoholics when they clearly are.
I loved digg too.
So weird it’s HOD. Scaling tech much easier with modern infra.
Still hoping hacker news front pages my Rick and Morty inter-dimensional cable inspired news site someday.
