You've posted this quip twice in two days, and at least one other time a few months ago. Most of the activity we can see in your comment feed over recent months is in the category of political/ideological battle, not curious conversation, which means you participation on HN is at odds with the guidelines and the site's purpose.

We understand that these politics-related topics are inherently activating of strong emotions (indeed, survival-related fears), and so we've been willing to cut everyone a little slack in these discussions in the past year or two. But there is a limit to how much blatant disregard for the guidelines we can tolerate before we have to ban accounts.

You're as welcome as anyone else to participate here and express your views, but we need to see you, like everyone, showing a sincere intention to follow the guidelines. These ones in particular are relevant to your recent posting history:

Be kind. Don't be snarky. Converse curiously; don't cross-examine. Edit out swipes.

Comments should get more thoughtful and substantive, not less, as a topic gets more divisive.

Eschew flamebait. Avoid generic tangents. Omit internet tropes.

Please don't use Hacker News for political or ideological battle. It tramples curiosity.
