It's hard to predict which maths result from 100 years ago surfaces in say quantum mechanics or cryptography.

It's hard to predict which maths result from 100 years ago surfaces in say quantum mechanics or cryptography.
The likelihood for that is vanishingly low, though, for any given math result.
