I don't get the love for ThinkPads. They must be the most overrated product I've used. I've had several ThinkPads (always corporate T series) and MacBooks in the house over the last decade or so. Every time I find the Macbook far superior in terms of just about everything. Battery, display touchpad, speakers, thermals, aesthetics. I could never get used to the nipple-mouse but using my thumb on a MacBook trackpad is very easy. The ThinkPads have slightly deeper keyboard travel that's about the only good thing I can say.
