If you're talking about "namespaces in terms of natural languages", it's obvious that "Windows" and the shorthand "Win" are their own namespace, eg. Win32, WinUI, WinRT, and that the developer of Windows has every right to consider it their own namespace?
Yeah I would expect a name starting with "Win" to be for or about the MS Windows operating system, but it doesn't need to have MS as a vendor. For that they need to use MS in the name, which is what there trademark is, and what they are very picky about to have included.
Note, that "Windows" used to be a class of operating systems, not a specific one (as in an OS with a Windowed system and metaphor), e.g. X Windows also exists. The role of "Windows" in "MS Windows" is(used to be) really the same as "Basic" in "MS Basic". Also some people also have a (legal) opinion about the implications of using non-standard abbreviations of "MS Windows": https://www.gnu.org/prep/standards/html_node/Trademarks.html
