CV: 15+ progressive years in IT, working from DC Intern to Lead IT Engineer in prior role. Managed on-prem, cloud-only, hybrid-cloud, both major productivity/collaboration stacks (M365/Google Workspaces), endpoints, video conferencing, networking, and some telephony. Closed a $1bn+ M&A through remediation of enterprise IT issues in <6mo. Architected global datacenter refresh and migration to VMware stack, migrated Hyper-V to AWS in 6mo, reduced AWS bill by 60%, built showback for private cloud atop VMware Aria Operations (expandable to multi-cloud). Provided market research analysis for private cloud hypervisors/management systems, spearheaded IaC adoption within private cloud, and completed K8s PoC for private cloud estate atop VMware+ArgoCD.

Looking to make the jump into management, leadership, and/or architecture. Want to own what I build from greenfield to ongoing support. Strong focus on removing technological barriers and obstacles from daily work so folks can focus on getting stuff done instead of getting frustrated with IT.
