I am open to other engineering roles, but I am mainly looking for engineering roles (or hybrid science/engineer roles) that focus on supporting scientists or scientific organizations. For the last ten years, I have bounced between working as researcher and engineer, and I have a track record of helping scientists write better code (and build better machine learning models). Most recently, I have been part of a team working on a GenAI system. My focus has been on (1) testing to guarantee the model continues to support critical customer needs, and (2) systems that override the model output to increase reliability and consistency for the end users.

I love helping scientists automate the repetitive parts of their work while allowing the flexibility necessary for experimentation.
