Respectfully, I hope you don't judge the people you interview the way you judged me based on my question. You have no idea who I am, and surely not enough data to decide whether I know how to learn or not.

In my opinion, it is extremely important for the interviewer to realise that they are in a dominant position. Here, I can tell you what I think about how you judged me. If I was an interviewee, I may not be in a position to lose the job just because I told you that you are being rude.

I am not juddging you on your persona or character, im judging you on the disconnect between what you wanna do and how you wanna go about doing it. If you wanna learn binary RE, LLMs can make you an expert easily.

In the same eay, when I am interviewing a person, the number one thing I look for is ones ability to not be a drag on the team - id rather one spend a week getting something to work on their own rather than asking for help every step of the way, because the latter builds skills that are gonna make them be someone who i can hand tasks and have them done right, rather than worrying about if they got the right guidance.
