I think I recall reading about Hendrix that he tried to emulate the sounds of cartoons with his guitar, and then when he was in the army he did the same with trying to reproduce the sounds of fighter jets. Not sure if urban legend, but cool origin story.
I think I recall Hendrix had a history of assaulting women and died choking on his own vomit. Good guitarist, but a piece of shit human being. Does not deserve to be glorified like he is. Maybe instead of reproducing the sounds of fighter jets, he was trying to reproduce the painful squels made by women he was beating the shit out of.
