Need to add a charger (5V), a box and cooling. More like $160/170. An Intel N100 box or a used miniPC has more mileage. I own myself one of this and the support is pretty bad for anything related to graphics, while headless armbian works fine
I mean yeah, I agree. I’d probably go for an i3-1235U NUC myself. At least before RAM and NVMe shot the price from ~$225 to $500 in just the past 6 months.
N100’s are still cheap, and more directly comparable to the Rockchips, but they really were supposed to be replaced at the same price point by now. Intel will be releasing the 2.5-3rd generation of the N100 tier lineup this year and the N100 tier still stands alone in price due to silicon production shortages and old stock.
I’ve seen N150 and N200 around a bit, both are a touch better than N100 for usually around the same price if you can find them.
