There are plenty of snappy examples. Off the top of my head: Discord, Netflix, Signal Desktop, WhatsApp Web.
Those are all really poorly-performing.
Discord, maybe. But Netflix and WhatsApp Web? Those are bloated cows, just less broken than average.
