Even if the votes are highly accurate, there is no circumstance in which I would want to leave my laptop at a Starbucks. There is a likelihood I may forget, but certainly not intentionally leaving it. That said, there are places where people leave their cell phones, keys, etc just to reserve a table in a food court while they go off to buy their food. I guess this map could be a proxy on which countries are safe to do that.
