Posting his links and engaging in the discussions is his main job. This is spam, even if you like it - because most people don't want to see one person posting their links on every AI discussion, ranked at the top just because among hundreds of thousands of people reading HN, some thousands are not annoyed by seeing his blog links in every post.
The corect term is being a tech influencer and even if you say it with a bad connotation it's completely different than spamming which is low/no effort posting and most of the times selling something.
If having a job makes you unable to use basic English, then it's time to take a break like he does maybe.

Does he provide content of value? If so, it ain't spam.
