That's what I have been doing for years.
I use the internet browser on the TV to watch the local broadcasts(SRF).
Next I will get a dumb monitor and hook up and old laptop to it with Kodi.
Also don't agree with the optional policies, they can be unchecked if you already did. That disables a bunch of crap too.
