You’re not exactly making the best impression here. This is such a bizarre thread. You have nit-picked someone’s choice of words into an extraordinary series of implicit slights against someone who has won a prize for the very thing at which she excels, and you really are inviting a lot of theories as to why; very few of them favourable.

I believe that most or all of your comment is completely wrong, sorry.

Either way, do you really believe that her achievements are primarily within hardcore mathematical research, and not more within popularity and communication? As I was skeptical about in the first post? There are also other arguments that I made that have not been addressed as far as I can tell.
