You should require a permit to leave your house, since a lot of deaths and injury happen outside of the house. The permit would generously give you the freedom to go outside for your job + once per week errand run. 1 hr/month leisure excursions permitted with good behaviour.
You know, for your safety.
Can you help me understand? Why does safety have to be all or nothing?
Isn't the alternative that people get hurt or die? And we want to prevent that?
Every decision has a cost as well as a benefit.
