Reason: WTF, Wired, I'm reading, I accidentally close the tab, but reopening erases it with "You’ve read your last free article"? No, I didn't read any more articles than before, it's the same dang one! I could imagine such a bug leading to false metrics and then bad business decisions, ex: "Wow, virtually every fresh visitor tries to read more than one article, demand for subscriptions must be huge!"
