There are USB headsets, that usually provides a few extra handy features, like volume/mute and call answer/hangup buttons.

It does if it’s a pair of big studio monitors like what I wear for calls.
These would have a 3.5 port themselves, ready for a usb-c-3.5 cable of questionable DAC quality.
