I'm currently working on an open-source End-to-End Encrypted P2P Chat-Platform similar to matrix but with the thinnest backend possible, the backend is a a simple directory server + relay, nothing more you can find more about it in the readme on GitHub :) https://github.com/Emn4tor/Seal
