Why tf would Israel, supposedly "surrounded by enemies" need military gains in Lebanon, a sovereign country, or in Gaza, which doesn't even have an army? By "it has to" you mean that the only way to keep their narative afloat is to try to manipulate public opinion?
Gaza attacked Israel on October 7th, 2023. Lebanon joined Gaza’s offense on October 8th, 2023.
And the decade prior to that the IDF would do random incursions and kidnap and shoot a few dozen people at a time in Gaza while it allowed settler terrorists in the West Bank to steal homes and land and you guys always ignore that aspect.
The zionists attacked Palestine in 1948 and took their land and homes by force. All hell broke loose since then.
