Another arbitrary invention. Why not divide by 3? Or 5? Or any other magic number?
Just as the clock face has 4 quarter corners, an Earth hemisphere has 4 quadrant corners. Those 4 different corners equate to 4 different Worlds, with each having its own separate day, own separate year and a separate human race.
