Curing cancer is such a lazy goal. Finding out how to make everyone smarter is a much better one.

The smartest people aren't insufferable, but people who think they're the smartest are.

Yes, smarter people, that's we need of course. No nuance needed. Smarter grifters, smarter drug dealers, smarter dictators, smarter serial killers.
Smarter and more empathetic people would be better I think.
