So first of, there is no proof of him having had sex with a minor/kid on that island. It might be a lot stronger of an evidence from others but i was not able to find anything.
And secondly, if you follow bill gates, you will realise that with his philanthropic side, he did quite a lot of good in the world. For sure not as a young bill gates but he has changed for sure.
And thirdly, you can think of people whatever you want, but you should read on what people in positions like him say because they might have unique viewpoints or information you are not aware of. What you do with this information is yours.
I use this type of information as a type of signal: If a lot of smart people say similiar things, i will increase the trust in that piece of information.
Btw. i did read his book about climate change and found it good.

No im not. I'm not protecting him and i'm quite disappointed that his good reputation is gone because of it. Before Epstein details, he became a lot more helpful to the society (ebola for example).
But "Presumption of innocence" is a real thing.
And it doesn't change the fact, that Bill Gates still for sure is knowledgable and probably relevant enough to read what he thinks
